American Made Clothing
With the recent product recalls in China due to lead paint children's toys, the terms "American Made" and "Made in America" regain their value. When BrooklyNYC decided to be an "American Made" company, we had reservations as to whether our customers will understand the value and quality of American Made goods. American Made t-shirts are more expensive than imported t-shirts because of the cost of American labor, but there are still many that value "sweat-shop free" American made goods.With the exceptin of our Urban fit mens shirts, we use t-shirts that are "Made in USA". All of our clothing is hand printed in America, in our Brooklyn, New York design studio.
Eco -Friendly
Not only do we use American Made Clothing, we use environmentally safe water based inks to produce our green clothing. It is important for consumers be able to trust the brands that they buy products from.
PVC FREE
PVC ink is used on most apparel made in the US and in China. PVC inks have been banned in the UK since 1999 due to the harmful environmental effects of PVC inks, and due to the danger PVC inks can cause to humans.

GREEN APPAREL
BrooklyNYC used environmentally friendly PVC FREE water based inks. We choose to be eco-friendly because the environment is very important to us. We try to educate our consumers on the danger of plastisol PVC inks, so that they can make informed decisions on which products they spend their money on. The PVC controversy was kept quiet in the United States, but recent toy recalls in China due to lead paint is leading more and more Americans to GO GREEN.One person has commented on this article.
