Water-based Ink

We use water-based textile inks for the entire BrooklyNYC clothing line and our Liberty & Bones Series. Water-Based ink is more difficult to work with than plastisol ink, and take it longer to print with, but it produced a SOFT HAND print. Plastisol ink is the rubbery ink used on most clothing, but we don’t like the cheap rubbery feel of the ink. The advantages of water-based ink advantages make it worth it. Some of the advantages of water-based textile inks for clothing printing include a soft hand feel, you can iron over it, it’s safer for the environment, and discharge ink is only available as water based ink.

"Water Based ink" is enviormentally friendly, and when combined with our ORGANIC is used to make eco-friendly, GREEN clothing and green t-shirts at BrooklyNYC LLC.
